Directed work and other stuff

For our directed work we are supposed to enter a contest of our choice. I have entered the omnthly 11 second club contest. This is to design an animation based on a small sample of sound. I want to use this character for my animation: This is max. However the porblem is that I cannot access the files for this character. The aim of the animation was to get this character to buy a half pint of beer, drinking the drink then leaving but after a while he wishes he had the full pint instead.

However my alternate work is to improve my skills in maya by following a few tutorials from some books i have brought. These will hopefully help my learn more about the programme and help understand how to use more tools more effectively.
